I mean the solution, similiar to the one that the client has here: filtering for countries. https://www.h-c-r.org/news
The problem is, that we have several categories – news and projects. On the news page we have a module for filtering for category = news within it. We need an external filter that the user can use for category = news only, on the news page.

Unfortunately, there is no option for creating external dynamic filters to change the view in the grid.
What you created is pretty much as far as we can stretch it over this weekend.
